SUBMISSION CRITERIA

Eligibility of Research

To present research abstracts on the WCCS Student Research Website:

  • The applicant must be a chiropractic student from a chiropractic college that is a member of the World Congress of Chiropractic Students whose research study has received a passing grade in their respective chiropractic colleges’ research course.
  • In consideration of the open accessibility of the website submitting student/s must give direct authorization for their work to appear on the website.
  • In the event that the chiropractic student is not required to conduct a research study as part of their curriculum, approval may be made by the colleges’ research department.

 

Terms and Conditions

  • Each abstract must be from a project performed by a chiropractic student (and on submission they must provide contact details (for either the faculty head or research department) for their work to be verified and approved.
  • The submitting student/s are to allocate what category they wish their research study to come under as per the website rational (Philosophy, Science or Art).
  • Each abstract must be submitted with appropriate current contact information as per the WCCS Chiropractic Student Research Website submissions page.
  • Each research project must be chiropractic based.
  • The Website is open for contribution from any chiropractic college, regardless of WCCS affiliation.

 

Annual Time Line of Events

  • There will be two submission dates per year
    • July 31 st (Northern Hemisphere)
    • January 31 st (Southern Hemisphere)
  • Upon submission, verification and authorization will be required.
  • Abstracts will be uploaded upon confirmation of validity by the submitting students’ faculty head or research department.

Responsibilities of the Website Host

As per the proposal passed at the 2007 congress, it was decided that the New Zealand College of Chiropractic will host the WCCS Student Research website.

  • It is understood and agreed that any changes, minor or major, shall not be implemented unless proposed and passed at a WCCS Congress. This includes but is not limited to:
    • The addition of new pages
    • The addition of new links
    • The editing of wording or design
  • The only exemption to the above is the addition and uploading of submitted and verified abstracts from participating chiropractic colleges.
